MICK CULLEN - Managing Director
Until joining Amdipharm in 2006, Mick was a career banker with Royal Bank of Scotland PLC where he experienced a wide range of roles including people management, client management and business planning. Client management included wide experience in the Pharmaceutical Sector across a client base with sales turnover in the range of £10m - £500m. Mick’s responsibilities are managing the overall ASM operations and he sits on the Group Board.
ANTHONY C. PLAYLE - Business Development Director
Over thirty years’ experience in the industry with an in-depth knowledge of the European pharmaceutical market, to include the launch of new products, sales and profit optimisation and restructuring. Solid command of technical and business issues and a Business Development expert, highly respected in the industry. Consultant to the Board of Waymade Healthcare Plc since 2002 determining strategy, products and company acquisition and appointment of key staff. Director of a Canadian drug delivery company, Labopharm and Managing Director of Labopharm of Europe, Director of Phoqus and SEP. Also consults on ad-hoc brokerage assignments and opportunities.
Education : BPharm - MRPS - LBS Senior Management Programme - Cranfield – tailor made marketing courses - Numerous management, leadership and specialist courses.
OLIVIER GIRE - International Sales Director
Olivier graduated from Edhec Business School in France. Before joining Amdipharm, he had over 12 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as general manager of affiliates and groups of countries, thus managing teams and relations with distributors on over 30 countries.

PROFESSOR PETER D. STONIER - Group Medical Director
Peter has 30 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Medicine, including Medical and Board Directorships. He is a founder Board member and Past President of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK; he is currently Director of Education & Training of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, and Visiting Professor in Pharmaceutical Medicine at Kings College, London and at the Postgraduate Medical School University of Surrey. A graduate of the Manchester Medical School UK, Peter qualified MB ChB with Honours (Distinctions in Pharmacology and Psychiatry) in 1974, following a First Class Hons BSc degree in Physiological Studies from University of Birmingham and a PhD in protein chemistry from University of Sheffield. In 2006 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award of the US-based Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators (APPI/ACRP) for distinguished contributions and leadership in the field of pharmaceutical medicine.

KAUSHIK PATEL – Director, New Business
Kaushik has fifteen years’ experience in the pharma industry. He specialises in co-ordinating the Regulatory, Technical, Logistics, Fiscal and all other activities to effectively transpose the acquired assets from a vendor to Amdipharm within time and budgetary constraints.
Education: Honours Degree in Business Management from Toronto University, Canada.
JOSHUA CHAN - Director of Regulatory Affairs
Joshua joined Amdipharm in July 2006. He is a member of The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs. He is responsible for overseeing all the regulatory activities for the Company. He began his career in 1988 working for several medium to large multinational companies in food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals in the areas of research, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
He has over 13 years experience in regulatory affairs and was Group Head of Medical and Regulatory Affairs for an international pharmaceutical company marketing global brands.
He has been involved with over 30 separate pharmaceutical product acquisitions with the majority involving international markets. Prior to joining Amdipharm, he was Director at his own consultancy company providing support services in business development, technical and regulatory affairs.

DR JOHN JACKSON – Group HR Director
With more than 12 years HR experience in multi-national pharmaceutical companies, John is responsible for all aspects of Human Resource Management at Amdipharm. Before that he had a successful career in both HR and technical roles in the oil industry.
JAMES WISELY – Business Development Manager
James has held several positions within the pharmaceutical industry, including Sales Research, Marketing Information and Commercial Information.
Since joining Amdipharm seven years ago James has further honed his skills in the areas of Business Intelligence and Business Development.
James has more than twelve years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
His responsibilities have included business information/intelligence, business development, and acquisition activities extending to all of Europe, Africa, Middle East and Far East.
Education: BSc Hons in Applied Statistics & Computing.
HARSHADRAI (HASH) V. PAREKH - Head of Technical
Hash has extensive experience in pharmaceutical product manufacture and clinical research fields, who has performed at Director Level (Operations Director, Managing Director) for UK and South African based organisations.
He has successfully driven many business initiatives involving in-house and third party manufacturing, inventory management, and outgoing logistics of pharmaceutical and nutritional products, resulting in significant impact on profitability, quality and customer service.
Hash has excellent experience in the pharmaceutical batch manufacture and packaging, ranging from tablets, liquid, and aseptic products, whilst maintaining high productivity targets, cost control, and quality standards.
Education: BSc Biol Sci (Wits); BSc); MBL (Unisa)
MARK BAYLISS – Supply Chain Manager
Mark has twenty years’ experience in the pharma industry, the last four of which have been with Amdipharm. He is a professional logistics manager with experience of achieving results through leadership, teamwork and a keen eye for detail. Mark works in a fast-paced regulatory-controlled environment achieving tight deadlines using his specialist knowledge of logistics, including warehouse management, distribution, purchasing, print & packaging.
Education: HNC in Business and Finance and is a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.
SHANE MURRAY – Technical Projects Manager & QP
Graduated from University of London in 1977, becoming a pharmacist in 1978. Spent many years in formulation research & development in blue chip pharmaceutical companies.
Became a Qualified Person under the transitional arrangements and has been a Quality Director since 2004 in healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.
Education: PhD from University of London.
SILVIA MORINE-NAGY - Regulatory Affairs Manager
Silvia joined Amdipharm in 2006 from Brazil, and is a qualified pharmacist. She has more than 12 years experience in Latin American regulations working as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager and Consultant in Brazil for a number of medium size to large multi-national pharmaceuticals companies and with strong contacts at the Ministry of Health. Prior to that she was a Head Hospital Pharmacist for over 9 years.
